An inherent risk for exposure to Covid-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.
Shades of Green (SOG) has taken enhanced health and safety measures – for you, our other guests, and employees. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting SOG and the Walt Disney World® Resort. However, by visiting SOG and Walt Disney World® Resort you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Shades of Green has been intentional and gradual in our approach to our COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Based on recent trends and regulatory guidance, SOG no longer requires masks to be worn on SOG transportation.
Here forward, face coverings are optional for guests in both outdoor and indoor locations and SOG transportation.
Cleanliness and Sanitation
SOG has increased the frequency of wipe-down cleaning of high-touch areas on the buses using a CDC-recommended disinfectant.
Buses now undergo regular ozonation, which is an advanced sanitation process that has been proven to kill viruses, including COVID-19.
Hand sanitizer is available on all buses, as well as throughout the resort.
