Bus Schedules

Get Around Easily

One of the best parts of Shades of Green is the convenience of our complimentary bus transportation to the theme parks.  Bus pick-up and drop-off is located in the lower lobby, just past the Express Cafe. Don't forget to grab yourself some snacks at Express Cafe before you head out on your adventures.

SOG Bus Protocol:

  • Guests with electrical conveyance or wheelchairs are required to wait in line with their party.  The drivers will load the bus accordingly.  Only two electrical conveyances or wheelchairs are able to be transported per bus.  Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to bus arrival.

  • You must show your (1) resort ID card and (2) Military ID card before boarding the bus. You can use one resort ID for up to 5 guests staying in the same room.

  • If you are not the sponsor, your guest will be required to show their resort ID and photo ID. All guests 18 and up must show a valid military or state-issued photo ID.

  • Kids ages 15-17 are only required to show their resort ID.

  • Kids ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult and are not required to show ID.

  • We cannot accept digital IDs at this time.

  • Eating and drinking on the buses is prohibited.

Our drivers do everything possible to ensure buses depart on time. However, there are times when they may run behind due to inclement weather, heavier than usual traffic, or other unforeseen issues. If a Shades of Green bus has a mechanical issue procedures are in place to ensure our guests are picked up as quickly as possible. Shades of Green is not responsible for taxi or rideshare fees if you choose not to wait for the bus.

Current Bus Schedule

Starting Monday, May 1, 2023, the World Drive Expansion Project will begin between Shades of Green and the Grand Floridian Resort.  The walkway from our hotel to the Polynesian Village Resort will no longer be accessible.

We're adding extra buses to the Transportation and Ticket Center route, so you can still easily get to your destination.

If you prefer to use your own vehicle, you can still do so, but please note that you will be responsible for the parking fee at the theme parks.  Alternatively, you could use a ride-sharing service like Uber, Lyft, or the Minnie Van™ service connected by Lyft - all available within the Walt Disney World Resort.

Yes, you can take our bus to the TTC and access the various transportation options that the Polynesian offers (buses, resort monorail, boats, etc.)

STEP 1: SOG bus to the TTC – approx. 7 min travel time

STEP 2:

• Resort Monorail TTC stop: join the line – approx. 2 min walk

• For Disney Parks Bus Access: Walk from TTC to Polynesian Bus Stop – approx. 5 min walk

• For Boats to Magic Kingdom or Resort Monorail Polynesian stop: walk from TTC to Polynesian Great Ceremonial House – approx. 8 min walk

6. With the sidewalk closure I’d prefer to stay elsewhere, but I’m stuck because I’m within 30 days of arrival.

We hope it’s not the case, however, any guests who had confirmed reservations prior to this announcement (April 4, 2023) and wish to cancel will not be assessed a cancellation fee.
