Dog-Friendly Rooms

Beginning November 1!

There’s no need to board your best friend when you’re on vacation. If you’re a dog lover, you’re in luck. Starting November 1, 2026 a limited number of converted dog rooms will be available for dog lovers. 

 

New Dog-Friendly Rooms Available to book beginning 1 November.

To book, you must call 888-593-2242.  Dog-Friendly rooms cannot be booked online.

Your canine guest counts towards your room occupancy (for example, you may have four guests + one dog or three guests + two dogs) with a maximum of two dogs per room.

There is a $50 one time sanitation fee for your entire stay + a $15 fee per pet, per night.

Dogs must be leashed at all times outside of your guest room.

Dogs are not permitted in pool areas, splash pad, spa, or restaurants.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their dog (additional fees may be applied).

Shades of Green assumes no liability for the actions, behavior, or conduct of pets.

Reservations for dog-friendly rooms must be made in advance through the Vacation Planning Center. Room prices are for single or double occupancy. All ID cardholders, authorized users, and sponsors reserving rooms have to be at least 18 years of age. For more than two adults, add $15 per additional adult per night. Children 17 and under stay for free on available bed space.

Dog-friendly rooms, suites, and cabins: dogs count as occupants in the room. Two dog limit in all room types. See below Dog Rules for further explanation. $150 safety deposit will be placed on the room which will be refunded after check out and inspection.

Room Rate Policies

  • Room rate for sponsored guest rooms will be at the category 3 rate. Guest of Active-Duty military personnel will pay the same rate as that of the Active-Duty sponsor.

  • Rate II: 100% Disabled with DD Form 1173, DD Form 2765 or DD Form 2

  • Rate III: DoD ID or Retired SF 50 required for check-in. Only foreign military with U.S. Travel Orders or assigned to a U.S. Military Installation (with unlimited DD1173, DD Form 2765)

  • Rates are subject to party size verification upon check-in.

  • Guestroom rates are subject to change without notice.

 

Reservation Policies

  • Prices for Standard rooms are based on two adult occupancies.

  • Prices for Suites include up to four adults per room.

  • You will be charged an additional $15 for each additional adult up to the stated limit per room.

  • Children under 18 are free with existing bedding.

  • Rollaway beds or cots are not allowed.

  • Adjoining/connecting rooms may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed until check-in. 

  • Reservations are confirmed by room type, and not by specific location.

  • We try to accommodate special requests; however, we cannot guarantee to be able to fulfill these requests.

  • Room reservations may be accepted up to 365 days in advance of the arrival date of the requested stay.

  • Pets are not permitted (service animals only).

  • A $25 per-day hold will be placed on your credit card to use room-charging privileges.

  • Cancellation Fee: You may cancel up to 14 days before the start of your reservation without penalty. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival, you will be charged one night’s stay, per reserved room.

  • Early Departure Fee: After check-in, if your departure date changes, you will be charged one night’s stay, per reserved room.

  • If a room is not available during the time you’d like to visit, please let us know. We’ll do our best to alert you if space opens up. We also can help connect you to nearby hotels with special rates available for our guests, based on their availability, too. Remember, even if you stay at a different property, the Shades of Green spa and restaurants are still benefits available to you as an eligible guest.
